STC PHOTOS CONTRACT

Below are the terms and conditions. The photographer, videographer, editor, and anyone under STCPhotos management provide the client with these terms before each session to protect both you and STCPhotos.

Copyright

1. a. After every session, STCPhotos retains full rights to any and all photos, even after delivery to the client. STCPhotos has the right to post and share the client’s photos via website, social media, flyers, and other promotional materials.
2. b. A preview delivery will be sent to the client with a watermark. Once full payment has been received and confirmed, a second delivery—consisting of all the photos in the selected package—will be sent without watermarks. Business is considered concluded upon full delivery of unwatermarked photos, followed by a client survey via SurveyMonkey (optional but appreciated).

Ownership/Display

1. a. All work is solely owned by STCPhotos.
2. Before any session begins, a consent form must be completed via www.stcphotos.com. This is to protect both parties from any disputes related to social media, website posts, and image sharing.
3. b. By completing the consent form, the client agrees to:
4. i. Grant ownership of all photos and videos to STCPhotos.
5. ii. Pay a 10% non-refundable deposit prior to the event.
6. iii. Fulfill full payment no later than one month before the event.
7. iv. Allow STCPhotos to use media for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

Payment

1. a. A non-refundable 10% deposit is required before booking.
2. b. Refunds are at the discretion of STCPhotos, depending on the circumstances.
3. c. Clients will receive these terms and conditions digitally or in paper form before the session.
4. d. Any additional photos, locations, time, or outfit changes outside of the package will incur an additional fee.
5. e. Photos will remain watermarked and in STCPhotos' possession until full payment is received.

Cancellation Fees

1. a. If STCPhotos cancels before the event (regardless of how far in advance), a 90% refund will be issued.
2. b. If any STCPhotos team member feels unsafe or threatened (due to weather, people, time, etc.), they reserve the right to leave or cancel the event.
3. c. A discussion will be held with the client to determine any appropriate compensation.
4. d. If a client cancels prior to the event, and reschedules within three months, the original deposit will be applied to the new date.
5. e. Samuel Childers (STCPHOTOS) serves with the Army National Guard, which takes over some weekends and has a longer duration in the summer for training. If Training days fall on the wedding day and all efforts to get off are exhausted. STC with a refund 100% of the funds to you. As an added gesture, we will do what we can to find you a replacement.

Files

1. a. All files, edited or unedited, are owned by STCPhotos.
2. b. RAW files can be provided upon request for an additional fee.
3. c. STCPhotos will store all files for up to six months. After this time, files may be deleted due to storage limitations. d. If any files are lost, corrupted, or damaged within six months, a refund may be issued after discussion with the client.

Professionalism

1. a. STCPhotos will maintain professionalism and strive to ensure clients feel safe and satisfied, and receive the highest quality work in a timely manner.
2. b. STCPhotos will not discourage others from taking photos or videos during the session unless instructed otherwise by the client.
3. c. Food is not required for STCPhotos team members. If offered by the client, it is appreciated.

Liability

1. a. Any directions given by clients, guests, or employees during the shoot are at their own risk. STCPhotos is not liable for injury, damage, or loss incurred as a result.

Delivery

1. a. STCPhotos will contact the client after reviewing the content to discuss an estimated delivery timeline. Delivery times vary by project.
2. b. Final delivery may be via USB or digital link, depending on the agreement. Please be patient, as we are committed to delivering only our best work while serving other clients.
